Version 1 signs deal to acquire Singlepoint

  • Version 1 signs 11th acquisition agreement, kicking off strong 2020
  • Singlepoint brings 120 employees and clients including Zurich, Vodafone and Aon
  • Digital Acceleration Platform is a low code software framework for rapid delivery of business applications
  • Will add specialisation in Financial Services, Insurance and Telecommunications

Version 1 today agreed to acquire Singlepoint for an undisclosed sum in its 11th acquisition to date, subject to clearance by the Competition and Consumer Commission.

Digital consulting firm Singlepoint has a strong market position in Ireland and longstanding customer relationships with blue chip customers in the Financial, Insurance and Telco sectors. Through its award-winning Digital Acceleration Platform, DAPx, Singlepoint helps customers rapidly deliver digital transformation projects. The acquisition will bring additional scale and capability to Version 1's Digital and Cloud Solutions business.

Headquartered in Dublin, Singlepoint has 120 employees with expertise in Digital & Cloud Solutions, AI, Analytics and Technology Delivery who will integrate with Version 1's Digital & Cloud practice. Combined the businesses will have over 1400 employees, 500 customers, projected FY20 revenues of €140M and operations across Ireland, the UK and India.

The Singlepoint founders and executive management team CEO Rob Curley, CTO Brian Seery, COO Johann Cardiff and Client Services Director William Waldron will join the Version 1 team, focusing on bringing technology leadership to grow its Digital and Cloud Practice and to oversee the successful integration of the two companies. Completion of the deal is subject to the approval of the Competition & Consumer Protection Commission.
