Moving intelligence makes the first step in its European expansion strategy with a bolt-on acquisition in Germany

Zaltbommel, The Netherlands, July 13th 2021 - Moving Intelligence, the Dutch market leader for vehicle security, fleet management and equipment tracking, has completed its first acquisition abroad. With the addition of Berlin-based PLT Software, the Group is reinforced with a solid footprint in Europe’s largest telematics market, a sizeable B2B customer base as well as unique route planning technology to complement the Moving Intelligence product suite. As such the partnerships ticks all the strategic boxes in the context of building out a European telematics leader.

PLT Software is a German software company that helps companies get control over their logistics activities and get the best out of their fleet of vehicles through their proprietary GPS tracking and route planning software solution, TrackPilot. The company has a strong presence in Germany, with a particular focus on SME customers. The solution is complimentary to Moving Intelligence whose focus is on vehicle and equipment security.
